Verdun - Squad based WW1 multiplayer game now out of early access!


M2H. BlackMill Games have announced that Verdun; A Squad based multiplayer WW1 game has officially been released out of Steam Early Access today. Verdun is set in WW1 and inspired by the infamous battle of Verdun in 1916 and contains many interesting features such as : Authentic weaponry, character levelling, realistic historical battlefields, tactical squad assembling, real time dynamic front-line immersion and much much more.

Subterrestrial - SNES style platformer plans for Kickstarter!


The Foolish Brave has recently sent us word about their latest action pixel platforming game 'Subterrestrial' that will be going through a Kickstarter campaign 15th May 2015. Set on the Island of Neria and deep within the heart of the forest, you play as Ozma, a young fox demon, along with his magic swordsman companion Ry to defend Neria against a grand scheme of godlike proportions which threatens to obliterate an entire region!

Lemma - An immersive first-person parkour game due for release May 12th

Five years in the making and unlike any first person parkour game you've played, Lemma features the ability to create structures through parkour moves. Surfaces pop in and out of existence at will and you can modify the environment in Lemma through several different systems that work together.

Serpentes - Top quality Snake for a new age!


Snake originally came about in the mid 1970's and over the years has seen many different versions and variations on different systems. The main Goal? To gain a high enough score while controlling a snake like creature, moving around a square screen area collecting food while also avoiding your tail or other obstacles as it grows ever larger with each bite. However each variation of the Snake theme has generally been the same until Benjamin Soulé released 'Serpentes'.

Studio Anjin has just given us the heads up of a retro styled game that according to them should be right up our alley. Developed by Kyle Riley, 'Saber Disk' is a wickedly cool shooter developed for the Ludum Dare 32, based in a weirdly hypnotic distant future of 1999. You play as a hip Net-Hacker by the name of Booter fighting the evil sentient AI known as the TimeLord who has taken various creatures from the past and cybernized them into terrifying mechanical weapons.

AdventureJam - Adventure game jam is here and it's brill


One of the best game jams is now in full swing and for those of you who love a good point and click adventure game, then the '#AdventureJam' is at the top of it's class. If you remember games such as The Dig, Broken Sword or even Simon the Sorcerer, then you'll love this adventuring Jam of 88 free games so far. But unlike those games, these developers only have 14 days to create an adventure as either a point and click, text or through a 3D environment.

Pendek - A wonderful adventure available now!


It's time to move on from those golden age of computers and move towards a more modern adventure game, but with a retro style by the name of 'Pendek' , developed by Shaun9991. Released this week for the AdventureJam 2015. You play as Yandi, a villager who works for the Pandang Logging Company deep in the Sumatran jungle but an accident leaves you stranded and alone in the jungle. You must your skills and knowledge of the jungle to escape, and be on your guard as there are creatures out there waiting to eat you all up.

There Was A Caveman - Prehistoric retro inspired platformer greenlight success


Aamatniekss has informed the gaming community of a successful Steam Greenlight campaign for 'There Was A Caveman'. A challenging action platformer where you play as possibly the last Caveman venturing out of his cave to save the world overrun by dinosaurs and hopefully find a female specimen to rebuild his caveman civilization. To coincide with this news, the developer has also released a number of animated gifs, and a new demo version which includes lots of small fixes and additions, and a few bigger things.

Ninedots studio in Quebec has been busy getting their epic adventure life sim Outward ready for a kickstarter campaign. As a huge open world game, the main driver is not to level-up to a super strength god-like being but to upskill, craft and outwit the opposing forces thrown at the player.
