Another heads up for our Indie Retro News readers, as we've recently been told by Liqmatrix that if you head on over to the itch io page linked below, you can download the latest game of Ghostly Manor by 9958 Crew for the MSX2+. A game in which you need to collect keys in each of the many levels to open the door to escape. In light of this news, Saberman has also done a video of the gameplay viewable below.

The retro gaming news just keeps on coming, as if the announcement of Druid and Droid, Oh Chute! and Minekart Madness wasn't enough to whet your appetite, then you might be interested to learn as of today thanks to a heads up by @ArnaudDeKlerk, you can now download or play online the latest MSX release of Paco Time Attack by Physical Dreams; an MSX nod to Bomb Jack in which you need to collect all the bombs to clear the level.
Guntus - A multi-system 8bit game via Inufuto is now available for the C64
If you have an Amstrad or any of the other systems mentioned below and looking for another fun game to play through the week ahead, then you may be interested to know that the previously released game of 'Guntus' by Inufuto, which appeared on the Amstrad, MSX, PC-**, MZ-*, SMC and ZX Spectrum is now available for the Commodore 64. A challenging Arcade game in which you need to kill waves of enemies in each of the many stages by blasting them to pieces.

Lilly’s Saga – The Stones of Evergreen - Could this love letter to 80's and 90's classics for the MSX2 be a winner?
Unless you were living in a cave, many of you will remember the classic game that is ' Super Mario Bros ', a game that was produced by Shigeru Miyamoto and released by that famous company Nintendo in the late 80's for the NES. It is an incredible platformer that has had many sequels and spin offs on different systems, ranging from the NES all the way up to my personal favorite the DS. Well if you too are a fan of Mario but are looking for something fresh on the MSX2, you'll be interested to know that as of right now you can play Fabulous 8bit's love letter to Super Mario Bros called "Lilly’s Saga – The Stones of Evergreen"; The 31st entry into the MSXdev22 competition.
DICED - A high quality Dice game released by Mi-Chi & Def Danny for the MSX1
I may not have an MSX but there are certain games that have appeared over the years in the homebrew scene, that have really opened my eyes to just how good the system is for a multitude of different genres. One such game that caught my eye that looks well worth a play is Mi-Chi and Def Danny's latest MSX1 game of 'DICED - Tournament'. A high quality MSX 1 game where players meet at the annual dice-tournament to throw dice and get drunk against over 190 unique opponents in 17 tournaments!
My Sacred Place - The 25th entry into the MSXDev'22 competition is an action strategy RPG
Another retro gaming news story to keep you company, as thanks to Saberman contacting us this morning, we've been told that a brand new game for the MSX1 called 'My Sacred Place' is available to play. This game developed by Mario Cavalcanti for the MSXDev 22 competition, is an action strategy RPG in which you have to protect your village’s garden from the clutches of the fearsome Garks. To coincide with this news, we've also got a new video for you to view as a first look to the game.
Sacred Valley - A new MSX action platformer, but with several twists and unique features.
Shadow of the Pig - Fart your through yet another endless runner game via the MSXdev'22!
If you don't like these endless runner games then look away now, as thanks to Saberman and File Hunter contacting us just recently through Twitter, we've been told that the T-Rex(Chrome Easter Egg) and Shadow of the Beast inspiration of 'Shadow Of The Pig', has been released through the MSXdev'22 competition. A Parallax based MSX game in which playing as a PIG you need to fart your way through a Cactus filled level to lift that a curse has replaced your shadow by an evil Witch.
Bounce Mania - Bounce the ball through a difficult maze for the MSX!
Muhonmourn - An unusual party game for the MSX via the MSXdev22 competition
Another entry in the MSX Dev 2022 competition and one that I'm sure many MSX owners will be playing with their friends, is hoge1e3 new multiplayer party game of Muhonmourn: A MSX 720KB game in which playing against other opponents, you must conquer as much ground as you can, and the player with the most covered ground wins. Bufonada - An atmospheric MSX game by Roolandoo has now been released
Roolandoo has made some really great games throughout the last few years, with many of them being featured on Indie Retro News. Well here we are with another game announcement from Roolandoo, as the previously released ZX Spectrum game of 'Bufonada' of which we have featured before, has now been released through the MSXdev22 competition. For those of you who haven't heard of this game before, it is a rather atmospheric game where you play as a useless jester and a half-crazy magic goat.
Automania - A classic C64/ZX Spectrum game appears on the MSX via the MSXdev22
In 1984 Mikro-Gen released a fun but extremely difficult ' Automania ' for the C64 and ZX Spectrum. In this game your task was control Wally Week around a garage collecting car parts to rebuild a car, while also avoiding enemies both stationary and moving in different directions. Well if you remember this fine game back in the day and was hoping it would come to the MSX, will be pleased to know Fregarni has entered his homebrewed MSX version of the game for the MSXdev22 as the 13th entry.
Robot Rumble - A great puzzle game with a kick ass soundtrack now for the MSX via MSXdev22!
It felt like it was only just the other day that we mentioned a new game called ' Robots Rumble '; a game that wasn't just developed by Miguetelo Art for the ZX Spectrum 48k and 128k, but also for the C64 by Digital Monastery and VIC-20 by Hokuto Force. Well if you remember this fine game that was originally released back in 2019, you'll be pleased to know as thanks to a heads up by both Saberman and ArnaudDeKlerk, that the game has now been released for the MSX by Robosoft.

If you have a ZX Spectrum at hand, chances are you if you were reading IndieRetroNews at the time, you would've come across Amawek's excellent horror game called 'Virgil's Purgatory'; a game which celebrated the Modern Art Week in Brazil. Well fast forward to this month, and thanks to Amaweks giving us another heads up, we have been told that he has not only released a new game for the MSX and ZX Spectrum called /\ O [ ], but this game also follows a rather artistic style that's a ton of fun to play.

Black Sea is getting another feature on Indie Retro News, as looking through itch io, we have found out that the fun for all the family Arcade game of 'Black Sea', has arrived on the Gameboy Advanced. Now if you've not seen this game before as you don't have an Amstrad, MSX or ZX Spectrum, which the game previously released on. Then this is a new game in which you play as Submarine Captain Robinson on a quest deep into the Black Sea to search for treasures and discover all the secrets that those waters hold.
