Legends of Pixelia - Playthrough + Greenlit on Steam, and days left on Kickstarter!

Legends of Pixelia has been Greenlit by the Steam Community and is also now on Kickstarter which has met its stated goal. Hurray! Expanding beyond the first dungeon, early access version 0.82 has multiple dungeons and interesting monsters that you will encounter and fight in a bloody battle to the death (hopefully not yours).

Verdun - Squad based WW1 multiplayer game now out of early access!

M2H. BlackMill Games have announced that Verdun; A Squad based multiplayer WW1 game has officially been released out of Steam Early Access today. Verdun is set in WW1 and inspired by the infamous battle of Verdun in 1916 and contains many interesting features such as : Authentic weaponry, character levelling, realistic historical battlefields, tactical squad assembling, real time dynamic front-line immersion and much much more.

TurboLink - Fast paced racer gets a Steam Greenlight campaign

A Steam Greenlight campaign has begun for Division Five's fast paced racer 'TurboLink'. Set in a futuristic period, TurboLink delivers an epic racing experience for up to 4 players all across an abandoned Earth that was poisoned long ago by a deadly virus nearly killing off the human race.

Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Plus - Classic platforming MOD reaches v5.0!

In the late 90's Epic MegaGames (Epic Games) released the fantastic Action Platformer, 'Jazz Jackrabbit 2' for home computers. It was a brilliant game for it's time featuring great retro graphics, multiple levels, environmental hazards, different character choices, platforming blasting action, power ups and multiplayer over LAN. Yet for anyone wishing to play it today with more than just the original gameplay, Violet_CLM has released Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Plus version 5.0; which gives the original much needed new features and improvements.

Command & Conquer Renegade X: Open Beta 4 is now available!

Way back in 2002 Westwood Studios released Command & Conquer Renegade; the only Command and Conquer game ever to use a first person view. The story took place during the final days of the First Tiberium War as the player assumed the role of GDI commando Captain Nick "Havoc" Parker, who is assigned to rescue these experts. Today the developers Totem Arts released the Open Beta 4 for Command & Conquer Renegade X, which is a free remake of that original classic.

Particle Mace - Pixel smashing battler on Steam

Particle Mace is an interesting looking physics based pixel smashing battler from Andy Makes (Andy Wallace) with a glowy vector style and a fast paced fresh gameplay mechanic. Particle Mace sees the player doing battle with other players not with blast weapons but by swinging a large mace.

Stardust Vanguards - 4-Player Mech dueller coming to Steam Friday, January 30th!

Zanrai Interactive has just given me the the heads up that Stardust Vanguards, which is an awesome looking local four player action game about mech dualing in space, will be available on Steam this Friday, January 30th. Stardust Vanguards features kick ass fire-power in the style of 80's and 90's anime space operas, as you battle it out in fast paced combat against other players.

Raining Blobs - Arcade madness with an anime vibe available for PC!

Are you ready for what I consider the coolest looking arcade multiplayer puzzle game this side of January? Then come and take a look at Raining Blobs; a super addictive, challenging, falling blobs, hardcore puzzle game that's both single player and up to 6 player for PC! What really caught my attention is it having an anime vibe, a touch of Puzzle Bobble with included great pixel art, chippy soundtrack and full controller support.

Drift Stage - 1980's style racer gets an alpha demo!

Although the developers have not kept in contact we were pleased to see that this 1980's style racer game has not only been a Steam Greenlight success but they have recently released an Alpha demo. Featuring rich colours and fast paced racing with old school cars, Drift Stage really does take you back to the 80's and speeds it up to spec with the latest modern features.  Features such as a full single player mode, character oriented career mode, circuit races, leader board chasing time trials and for those that want to play with others, local split screen and online multiplayer. Hopefully we will know more with a Kickstarter soon!

Vektor Prix - A Vector racing game like no other!

For those of you with Epilepsy look away now, as djoslin has launched a Steam Greenlight campaign for a very unique flashy vector racer titled "Vektor Prix". In development for PC since 2009, Vektor Prix features fast paced crazy racing with all out psychedelic vector immersion. A racing game that will blow your mind, as it also features singleplayer and online multiplayer, AI opponents with adjustable difficulty, a variety of weapons and levels, controller support, and gamemodes such as racing, deathmatch or team deathmatch. Certainly one to keep an eye on if you're into flashy effects and racing!

SkySaga - Oliver Twins new game gets a gameplay trailer!

Rampage Knights : A Medieval Coop Beatemup gets an Indiegogo and Steam Greenlight campaign

Rampage Knights game by RakeInGrass games is about a group of knights who are robbed of their loot by an evil wizard. The game is a multiplayer beat-em-up which involves you attempting to get to the castle of the evil wizard from basecamp. You will want to grab a gamepad and some friends for the best experience. It's always great to see another game with a focus on local coop.

Usually I'm not one for sporty type games or those that are highly competitive, yet when I saw ClusterPuck 99 it stood out from the crowd. Developed by PHLCollective, ClusterPuck 99 features up to 8 player competitive matches in both against and local co-op, as you bash each other around the map to gain control of a puck to reach the opponents goal.
