Do we have some great retro gaming news for you, as that legendary game character Sonic from the Sonic the Hedgehog game series, which appeared on multiple systems such as the the Sega Master System, Sega Megadrive and Sega Game Gear. Has been released as a fan remake for Windows called Sonic Triple Trouble 16-Bit; a fully fledged fangame re-imagining of the Game Gear game Sonic Triple Trouble in the style of the Genesis and Sega Mega Drive Sonic classics.

Ex-zodiac - Move over Star Fox it's time for a new fast-paced rail shooter to play! (Windows, macOS, and Linux)
Trawling through the itch io website there's another game that might be worth checking out, and that's the latest early access release of Pixeljam and Ben Hickling's 'Ex-zodiac'; a game which isn't just available for Windows, macOS, and Linux, but from the look of the game it looks like it could be the next best thing for those of you who played the hit game of Star Fox/Star Wing; a game which was released way back in the 90's for the SNES. MorbSweeper - A twisted version of MINESWEEPER playable in your browser
I'm sure many of you have heard of MineSweeper; a puzzle game in which players had to clear the board of numbers without coming across deadly exploding bombs, using help from clues about the number of neighbouring mines in each field. But I bet you haven't heard of Morbsweeper, which is the latest game from Lumpy, qkjosh, branflakes, hi5music and PhillChabbb. Well if you haven't, you'll pleased to know that this isn't just a clone of MineSweeper but this is a twisted version in which you have to suck your way to victory!

I have always had a soft spot for Super Mario Bros, ever since I first played it as a kid all those years ago in America on the NES. Its one of those timeless games that you never can get tired of. Its super simple to learn and control for new players and the gameplay is also simple but at the same time it can be very challenging. Well if you remember playing the game ( Who doesn't ) you may be interested to know that as of today, Superpi2 has made available Super Mario Bros. S; a collaborative fangame, meant to embody the spirit of modern Super Mario platformers while utilizing the styles of older titles playable through your Browser or as a download.
RCross - A 2021 competition winner for the PC gets an Amiga port by BSzili (68040/68060)
BSzili has been mentioned a number of times on Indie Retro News, as not only did he release the Amiga port of Blake Stone Aliens of Gold, but he also made available Exhumed / Powerslave, Wolfenstein 3D, BLOOD and even Shadow Warrior. Well here are with another BSzili update, as he has now made available the PC to Amiga port of RCross; a racing game originally created by Franticware for the #hvdosdev2021 competition at https://www.high-voltage.cz where it won the first place. To coincide with this news story Saberman has also done a video of the game which can be viewed below.
Tomb Raider - A rather special action adventure classic gets a BIG review by DarkwyndPT!

It was later released in 2002 for Windows Mobile, in 2003 for the N-Cage, in 2009 for the Playstation 3 and the PSP, and in 2012 for the PS Vita and Windows through the Steam store.

In 1987 Hewson released the excellent action run and gun game ' Exolon ' for the ZX Spectrum, C64 and Amstrad CPC, with a later conversion to the Enterprise 128, Amiga and Atari ST. In the game, you played as a sci-fi soldier across multiple screens blasting away enemies and defending yourself against gun defences as well as homing missiles. Well if you remember this fine game, you may be interested to know that at as of today, you can finally play the brand new remake of 'Exolon Redux'; A remake of that classic game which has been created by Ben James for both Windows and Browser Play!

Buccaneers: Shipshape - A full PC remake of the 1989 Buccaneers arcade game is coming soon
It's been some time since we've actually featured a PC remake of a classic fighting game, so to change all that, here's a rather special heads up for you all it's Buccaneers: Shipshape; An upcoming remake of the 1989 Buccaneers arcade game in which you slip into the role of one of four fearless pirates and hack-and-slash your way through waves of enemy hordes, offshore and on a dangerous island in the Caribbean. To coincide with this news, Saberman has done a gameplay video of the demo to give you a glimpse of the remake which is coming soon to Steam.
