Mars Colonies - Well made Space Strategy/RTS flash game!

Developed by Kendja and artistic work by LeonlDeye is a very well made Flash Based Strategy/RTS called Mars Colonies, which as you expect is all about colonies on Mars. Just the other day I thought to myself what if we had another outpost style game, which was a great title from Sierra, well this may fit that gap until we ever see it's like again. Mars Colonies is all about the building and protecting of your own colonies, with the ability to hire skillful colonists which you must help them to survive mars quakes, dust storms and other threats. This is a damn fine game and even though it's flash based, I'm sure you'll be impressed too!

StarDrive - High Quality 4X Action Space Strategy (BETA PREVIEW)

After featuring two news articles on Iceberg Interactive and Zero Sum's upcoming 4X game Stardrive (here and here) we finally got our hands on a key for this promising space strategy. With all the elements and more from any other 4X games that we love, Stardrive proved to be a proper gem!

StarDrive - High Quality 4X Action Space Strategy (OPEN BETA AVAILABLE)

StarDrive which we featured here is now available for Open Beta testing via a steam pre-order. This is a really great 4x action space strategy game and has, not just fantastic graphics but it's also full of space faring gameplay! The goal in this game is to build a space empire and dominate the galaxies. You'll be doing everything from colonization, research, ship design, enjoying great space battles and more. Some are even calling this game the new master of orion 2, we shall see.

Unclaimed World - Survival and Exploration

Every so often we get a game on Indie Retro News, that comes across as a game that could be very special. This is Unclaimed World, developed by Refactored Games, which is a sci-fi game about survival and exploration of an alien planet. Sure we've had games like this in the past, but not many that really push the boundaries of greatness and this game could well do just that.
