Dizzy EasyFlash Collection - Classic Dizzy compilation for your C64

If you have a C64 with an EasyFlash capable device such as the 1541 Ultimate or using the C64 emulator WinVICE, then you owe it to yourself to download and play the latest Dizzy EasyFlash collection. Thanks to Retro-Nerd from EAB after much nagging from myself, has put together this release which features pretty much all of the Dizzy games and even my requested Dizzy like game, Seymour. Main games list includes Dizzy, Treasure Island Dizzy, Fantasy World Dizzy, Magicland Dizzy, Spellbound Dizzy, Prince of the Yolkfolk, Bubble Dizzy and Crystal Kingdom Dizzy.

Crystal Kingdom Dizzy - DizzyAGE Community Project (11th Jan update)

Dizzy fans it's time to rejoice once more, as the latest January update has been made available for the DizzyAGE community project remake of 'Crystal Kingdom Dizzy'. The original CKD was first released in 1992 on a multitude of systems in a completely different graphical pallet than we were used to. It also had less involvement from The Oliver Twins and depending on who you asked, there were many who didn't like the original Crystal Dizzy game over previous Dizzy adventures.

SkySaga - Minecraft style MMO reaches Alpha 2 stage!

Only just last month we announced "SkySaga"; A fantastic looking Minecraft style multiplayer game by Radiant Worlds which is currently going through early Alpha testing. Today's announcement is that SkySaga has now reached an Alpha 2 stage and is available for closed testing by invite through registration. A lovely game indeed which I was able to test last night. As it features new lands to discover such as sea, snow, sand, fields and mountains where you can create, build, dig, harvest trade and much much more. SkySaga really is full of charm and immersive detail that I actually preferred over Minecraft. I just hope they put in a bigger FOV and Mouse Acceleration settings.

Crystal Kingdom Dizzy - DizzyAGE Community Project WIP released!

It might be a late news article but this is one of those times that it just has to appear on Indie Retro News for a special release. We've just been informed on our Dizzy : RetroGaming group by Adam of Dizzy Age that major progress has been made on the open Community Project of the DizzyAGE remake of Crystal Kingdom Dizzy. Not only can the game be played and beatable ( Still work in progress ) but this release looks to be very special as it's taking Dizzy back to it's colourful 8-bit routes and is turning the game into what it should've been in the first place, a very good game!

Dizzy visiting Titus - Russian release for the Dizzy fans

As we are a huge fan of Dizzy with our very own Dizzy Facebook group page, we'd thought it wise to mention the latest fan based Dizzy release "Dizzy Visiting Titus" from the Russian developer; Rindex. Although it is in Russian as a birthday gift for one of their members, there is not much to go with regarding the story, it's a bit difficult to translate. But what we will say is the graphics are very good, at the top end of homebrew Dizzy games and if you understand Russian the game is fully enjoyable.

Spellbound Dizzy - A faithful remake of another classic Dizzy game

Dizzy games are a big hit on Indie Retro News as they are one of the greatest series of games ever to appear on retro based systems. Each game told it's own story about the little egg called Dizzy and the happenings with all his yolk folk friends, it was like a cartoon series but in a game. With plenty of different areas, difficult puzzles to solve, uniquely designed backgrounds and colorful characters this was a game series set in the hearts of millions. And it's with great pleasure to announce that DizzyAge have released another Dizzy game called Spellbound Dizzy, which is a faithful remake of the original 1990-91 game.
