Sunken Castle Dizzy - A new Dizzy adventure reaches beta!
Of all the games I want to play there is one type of game that I will put everything aside for and that's a Dizzy fan game. So to my surprise I was pleased to hear from Adam Markey (Yolkfolk) of a brand new Dizzy game called 'Sunken Castle Dizzy'. Developed by Simon Rice and in a beta stage, you once again play as Dizzy, but this time in a trip out to the caves with the Yolkfolk, he's slipped and fallen down a deep crevasse and it's down to you to get him out before the sea rushes in and he runs out of air!
Amazing Dizzy artwork from Pit!
I'm am probably one of the biggest fans of the 1980's character 'Dizzy' by The Oliver Twins. I have countless collectables ranging from posters to tapes and even the latest Dizzy badges. I even run a Facebook group called Dizzy RetroGaming that has many members from around the world who also love that little white egg. So I was amazed today when Adam Markey of YolkFolk posted in our Dizzy community of some beautiful artwork by Pit, a very talented artist who I would class as the best for creating Dizzy images.
Mushroom Kingdom Dizzy - A new DizzyAGE Easter Competition entry!
Egotrip is back with another Dizzy title and this time it's a Dizzy and Mario mash up for the upcoming DizzyAGE Easter competition, featuring some of those well known Dizzy characters and Mario enemies! Mushroom Kingdom Dizzy is developed in that 8-bit and 16-bit style, and once again you play as Dizzy but this time Dizzy has blacked out after his meeting with Zaks and has woken up alone in the Yolkfolk village.
Dizzy : Magic Maniax VI - Retro platforming with a twist!
Adam Markey (Adz.M) of YolkFolk and Dizzy : Retrogaming has released the latest Dizzy game for both modern gamers and those of us, like me, who are huge Dizzy fans. Developed using the platform engine by Andrew Ludford (AndyUK), you star as that lovable character Dizzy in another adventure story that relates to strange happenings in the Kingdom of Zakeria. As per usual you'll be jumping platforms, talking to characters and using items to solve puzzles. But what sets this one apart from the rest are the latest pallet cartoony graphics and a cool theme tune in the main menu.

As for the story, it's Dylan's birthday and the Yolkfolk are throwing him a party when, all of a sudden, a mysterious vortex opens up in the sky. And once again Dizzy is sucked through to another place, a strange Alien world, full of neurotic robots, senile computers and a bizarre, terrifying creature lurking in the shadows. Systems : PCKwik Snax - Retro Arcade: Action (Browser Based)
The third of the online "Load" Dizzy playable games has been released thanks to the guys of yolkfolk. This is Kwik Snax, a very classic retro game from the 1990's. Here on Indie Retro News we've done a lot of Indie games, so it's so nice to see a retro title such as this. Kwik Snax was unlike many of the other Dizzy releases. No longer was Dizzy hoping from platform to platform and collecting items, oh no, this was an arcade maze video game.
