Minecraft Demake - Modern Minecraft on the ZX Spectrum? Sort of!
I'm sure there's not a person out there that hasn't heard of the name 'Minecraft'; a game developed by Notch of Mojang which has been played by millions from both the young and very old, as they create pretty much anything and everything in a 3D procedurally generated world. But even if it is a modern game, and appearing as an unofficial teased in development Amstrad title called AmsCraft, it hasn't appeared on the ZX Spectrum... At least until now.

XELDA - Another Zelda'ish game is coming to the ZX Spectrum!

Currently at a work in progress state and loadable by a standard 128k Speccy on cassette, this game aims to be a bit of a big one that will be packed with both worlds and dungeons to satisfy most who love playing as Link.
The Last Run - John Blythe teases a potential new ZX Spectrum game!
It's that name again John Blythe, creator of games such as The Darkness of Raven Wood, Foggys Quest, Circuitry, and his previous spiffy game called 'Peculiar Perplexing Perils Of Professor Poldark. But this time he's no longer going cute, as he has recently been teasing a new project he may or may not release in ' The Last Run '; a rather excellent looking action shooter. As in his words "our battalion is gone. Destroyed in the last airstrike from the enemy. You have one desperate, suicidal run at the enemy base. One last loony run. Make it count soldier! Make them pay soldier..."
Rescue - ZX Spectrum game reviewed by Florinthedwarf!

| Saving all the memory for the game, eh? Let's hope so! |
Here we have a game which some say is famous for its infamous loading screen or indeed the slight likeness to Harrison Ford on the game's front cover which shows the protagonist of the game. I try not to look at it like that. I like to think of it as the game that you can end in less than ten seconds if you try and take off without fuel. We've all done it, surely? Just me? Surely not! (and yes, I am serious before you ask).
The Incredible Shrinking Professor - John Blythe kicks it up a notch with another cool ZX Spectrum game!
That homebrew guru is at it again who we know as Rucksack Games aka John Blythe, as after previously releasing such games as The Darkness of Raven Wood, Foggys Quest, and Circuitry, he's now moved on to a spiffy game called 'Peculiar Perplexing Perils Of Professor Poldark... The Incredible Shrinking Professor ', which is available for the ZX Spectrum 128k, ZX Spectrum 48k, ZX Spectrum VEGA and ULA Plus Edition.

Even more ZX Spectrum games have appeared in our box of speccy goodness, as we've been informed by André Luna Leão that the final version of 'IN SEARCH OF MORTADELO', will be released soon in Portuguese with a physical edition in Spanish, English and Portuguese at some point as well. Now if you've heard of this game before, that's because it was released in 1988 by Alfonso Fernández Borro as an Isometric game in similarities to both CRL and Ultimate Play the Game, although this version that is coming will have improved graphics, mapping and lives!

It wasn't long ago I was talking about Mat Recardo's ZX Spectrum game ' Robot 1 in The Ship of Doom ', which put you in the rollers of a character called Robot 1, who was been left behind by the crew on a space ship that was on a collision course with the sun. It was a very nice game with music by Sergey Tosov and developed using AGD that also featured as a tape by Psytronik Software! Once such game that is known as ' Gimmick! Yumetaro Odyssey' by greenwebsevilla, really caught my eye, as not only is it based on the 1992 Famicom/NES game Gimmick! published by Sunsoft, but each level is inspired by other classic games such as Sonic, Super Mario Bros, Castlevania and more!
Pumpkin Poe - Jet Set Willy style ZX Spectrum fairy tale platformer (WIP)
The next game to be mentioned and one that really appeals to me, is Ariel Endaraues's Fairy Tale ZX Spectrum platformer ' Pumpkin Poe ', which yet again is being created using Arcade Game Designer by Jonathan Cauldwell. Unlike the previous game we spoke about, this one is a work in progress platformer that's going to be in a similar style to that of Jet Set Willy but in a more child story vibe, so expect lots of colourful rooms, difficult enemies to jump over and items to collect.
Impossabubble - Dave Clarke shares his work in progress bubbling ZX Spectrum game
There's a lot of ZX Spectrum games to get through today and the next one to talk about, is Dave Clarke's rather nice in development arcade platformer ' Impossabubble ', which is being developed using Arcade Game Designer. It's time for a ZX Spectrum release with a very weird and wacky game called ' Moritz 48k ' for the ZX Spectrum 48k developed by Sebastian Braunert and Uwe Geiken, with music by Mister Beep. If you've got a free Friday evening with not much to do, you might like this latest game created using AGD, as not only does it contain a ton of levels but it will cause you to go insane as you try to beat them and not lose every one of your 30+ lives!

I don't know if Errazking has a lot of time on his hands, or he spends countless hours into the night without sleep making games, as after already releasing a rather cool isometric ZX Spectrum game called 'Deep Blue', which was developed using 3D GameMaker, a piece of software originally published by Crl for Spectrum in 1987. He's now gone on to release Abu Sinver Propagation... Again made with 3D Game Maker of CRL with improvements added by ThEpOpE.
InvAGDers Deluxe - ZX Spectrum Space Invaders for free if you buy Terrapins!
It was only just last month that I did a review of the Arcade remake of ' Terrapins ' on the ZX Spectrum by Highrise developed using Arcade Game Designer. A game by Allan Turvey, David Saphier and Craig Howard, featured high quality gameplay and a fantastic soundtrack that will be commercially released via Cronosoft in the next few weeks as its very own cassette.
