Tales of Gorluth III (Amiga) - The Third and Final Chapter is now available through itch io!

Sometime back we did a big announcement of AMIworx Action RPG of Tales of Gorluth III; A game which featured brand new monsters, traps, treasures and riddles, boss fights and an emotional story in English or German, as the third and final game in the series. Well this game is back in the news for the Amiga community, as AMIworx has announced that the game is not only available via itch io, but you can also try out the new demo right now!


Here is what the website says about the game "Tales of Gorluth III : Dungeon of Reminiscence, a linear action adventure for the Commodore Amiga! A game that doesn't just feature a very emotional and thrilling storyline, but also English and German languages, a brand new gameplay combined with traditional and beloved Gorluth action, highly detailed graphics, multiple 32bit colour palettes, brand new monsters, traps, treasures and riddles, epic Boss fights, and finally 020 and 030 versions included!

- Please note we are not sure when the game was commercially available via the AMIworx shop, as the previous announcement was back in 2021 as taking pre-orders. But it's NEW to itch io!

  1. Too bad, I thought it was already the new Scorpion Engine implementation. The original is unfortunately very jerky and sometimes has a strange hitbox.

  3. Excellent game - there's a user comment on the devs itch.io page which helps gets the best performance for emulators. My only thought is you might need to turn on the Global Hard Drive function in an emu, if it doesn't do that automatically. No WHDLoad available as download, which would've make the whole process infinitely easier for plug and play. You also have to load the entire directory into the workbench ram disk and load from there so it doesn't slow down in game. Once you're past those hurdles, it's a top title.
