AlienMSX - A nod to "Alien" for the MSX by Rodrigo Siqueira

Although I was late with this news ( I have bad back ), I thought it worth mentioning Rodrigo Siqueira's latest MSX based platformer of ' AlienMSX ' which was entered into the MSXdev24 competition. A game that tasks players with completing three missions and escaping the alien infested planet. The game stages are inspired by the script of the original movie. To coincide with this news, Saberman has provided some gameplay footage that shows some of the levels as well as the traps found within.

Here's what the website says about AlienMSX. "Just past year we had the 40th anniversary of MSX, and this year is the 45th anniversary of Alien, which better way to commemorate it than with an unofficial Alien game for MSX?. The game took a while to get here, the author followed the classic mantras of “it is done when it is done” and “a delayed game is late, but a rushed game is forever bad”, this game has been 4 years in the making, and the results are here for all the MSX fans to enjoy, and it even fits in 32K. AlienMSX stands as a quintessential action platformer, with a touch of metroidvania.
