We have been spoilt by some pretty decent looking games this month, from Sherwood (C64 Collector’s Edition) by Griffonsoft, to Zezito in the Glittering Caves by Iapetus. Well here with another great game to keep you occupied throughout this month, and it's Deathflood : Curse of Oak Island by WindigoProductions. A game described by the developer, as an action game full of dangerous creatures, evil villains, treasures, puzzles, and traps. To coincide with this news, provided below is the latest footage and game info.
And here's the details. "People say that there is a pirate treasure buried beneath the surface of Oak Island. Some say it is protected by an insidious trap...For centuries, stories have circulated about a huge pirate treasure buried on Oak Island. Treasure hunters discovered an artificial shaft on the island. But all attempts to dig up the treasure failed, as the shaft is apparently secured with a deadly flood trap. To this day, no one has reached the bottom of the shaft, and some even paid for the attempt with their lives."

Looking awesome, Ive been waiting for Montezuma`s Revenge predecessor and there iz !
ReplyDeleteThis looks great and I love the sense of exploration.. but the controls are TERRIBLE.. you feel as though you are constantly fighting with the controls to get the character to move how you wish.. the jumping is weird, and getting on and off chains is horrible.. If this is fixed, then this would be a great game.
