Project Nebula - A Super Stardust inspiration with hand-crafted HD visuals coming to Steam as of this December

MK_Games will be releasing Project Nebula on PC as of this December, bringing a high-octane reimagining of classic 360-degree space combat games to modern players. Heavily inspired by arcade icons like Asteroids and the 90s hit Super Stardust, the fast-paced shooter challenges pilots to survive chaotic alien swarms and hazardous asteroid fields while orbiting massive planetary battlefields. Designed with high-score chasing in mind, the game combines retro charm while demanding slick movement and sharp reflexes as players deploy a devastating arsenal against relentless galactic threats.

The upcoming release is packed with content, featuring 100 handcrafted waves spread across 10 visually distinct planets, each guarded by formidable bosses that require unique tactical approaches. Players can choose from three distinct starships, fine-tune their experience with multiple control schemes—including twin-stick and keyboard—and swap between a pure retro Classic Mode or a feature-rich Modern Mode. With local hot-seat co-op for friendly competition, extensive ship upgrades, and global online leaderboards to prove who is the ultimate pilot, Project Nebula hopefully delivers an adrenaline-fueled experience backed by a pounding soundtrack.
