BlockZ - A cool ZX Spectrum Puzzle game from Raymond and SpectrumNeZ on physical cassette

Puzzle games seem to be all the rage this year, as not only did we have Vegetables Deluxe to play, but also GermZ and YANGA to challenge our brains. Well here we are with yet another Puzzle game to be mentioned, as Andy Green who is creating the loading screens, has announced that Raymond Russell with music by SpectrumNez, are now accepting physical pre-orders for their previously released digital download of 'BlockZ'; a block moving puzzle game for the ZX Spectrum 48K and 128K... The ZX Spectrum 128k version has both music and SFX!

As I'm not a fan of puzzle games although it does look like a good game however, the team behind the game have explained how to play Blockz as follows : Move the Blocks around the screen but they can only move in the direction(s) shown on the block. If a block comes to rest touching one or more blocks then they will disappear. Make all the blocks disappear against the clock to complete the level. You get 5 chances to restart if you mess it up. You can also resume your game from the highest level you reached in your current gaming session, however your score will start at zero and you will be starting from a harder level.
