On the 23rd of December 2018, we surprised the community with an announcement that Tecmo's 1986 Arcade game of ' Rygar the Legendary Warrior ', was unofficially coming to the Amiga after having been released on many different systems including the C64 and ZX Spectrum. Well fast forward to today and there's been some incredible news for the Amiga community, as thanks to a heads up through our email, Seismic Minds has finally released the Rygar AGA Amiga conversion!
When we first showed this upcoming game for the Amiga by Mcgeezer the same creator behind the most excellent Bomb Jack Beer Edition. It was merely a long scrolling project as many features and graphics were not yet implemented. Thankfully that is now a distant memory! As thanks to a team of people such as McGeezer, DJ Metune, ROSS, PHX, INVENT, DLFRSILVER and DamienD, you can now play the full version complete with fabulous graphics, smooth frame rates, plenty of enemies, power ups and other cool bits I won't mention as not to spoil this great conversion!
