Xenon 2 Megablast - Manic retro shoot 'em up could be getting a 50fps AGA Amiga edition via mcgeezer!

For those of you who played the shoot em up of Xenon 2 - Megablast on the Amiga in the year of 1989. A game that was developed by The Bitmap Brothers and also released on systems such as the Atari ST, IBM PC, Sega Master System, Sega Mega Drive and Sharp X68000. Then you might be interested in this latest news story that we've come across via the EAB forums. As Mcgeezer looks to be working on a recoded version for the Commodore Amiga. A new version in which he says "I've decided to try and recode Xenon 2 for AGA running at 50FPS".

Well here with another McGeezer news story, as thanks to Saberman contacting us today, he has told us McGeezer has released the hack/speed improved Amiga version of Rolling Thunder; a game originally released 1986/7 via the Arcades and home systems such as the Commodore 64, Amiga, Nintendo Entertainment System, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST and ZX Spectrum.

Well fast forward to a brand new Monday news story, and Graeme Cowie has teased the first Alpha(?) footage of the new Amiga OCS game with the remastered Artwork by Tenshu.

While many of you are still playing the excellent Arcade conversion of 'Rygar' or the brilliant Arcade conversion of 'Turbo Sprint' on the Amiga, there's another development you might be interested in, although far from finished (first teaser!), and that's Kung Fu Master by Mcgeezer. Yes indeed this game which appeared in the 1980's in the Arcades that was later released on many different systems including the Atari 2600, C64 and other 8bit's, will be coming to the Amiga as a full game by the same dev behind both Rygar and Turbo Sprint.

As Graeme Cowie has just announced, his in-development Amiga AGA port of that fantastic game now features playable demo rounds from 1 to 6!
