ASYMMETRY - A high quality action game for the ZX Spectrum by MANU & KIT

The YRGB 2025 retro competition is doing very well so far, especially with the latest features of Cubix and Travel Unlimited. Well here we have another game that's well worth a mention on Indie Retro News, and it's MANU & KIT's high quality side scrolling action blaster of Asymmetry for the ZX Spectrum. A  game whereby you must defend Earth after it was drawn into a war between two powerful civilizations controlling thousands of galaxies beyond the visible part of the universe. In light of this news, provided below is the latest gameplay footage and game details.



Here's the latest from the website "Earth, the year 3025. After surviving a series of global catastrophes, humanity managed to avoid extinction and build a truly perfect society. But suddenly, a new threat emerged. Through a wormhole, Earth was drawn into a war between two powerful civilizations controlling thousands of galaxies beyond the visible part of the universe. The small planet held no interest for them, but the people caught in the crossfire faced total annihilation. Humanity had nothing to counter the aggression that had descended upon them. There was only one option left: to try to survive. Billions of cyborgs living alongside humans were retrained for a new task — the art of war..."

    Really good this Spectrum game, very cute the character, large and well realized sprites, parallax scrolling, all game assets move well and game seems good to play .. Well Done !

    Is the same guy just dominating this contest year after year? Valley of Rains, Seraphima and now this. Next year make a game about a dude for a change lol
    Not a fan how intro isn't skippable.. until it suddenly is, but by that point I was straight up mashing the keys and ended up making menu selections without knowing it))
