The Plus/4 World website has surprised us with yet another new recovery! As they have informed the Plus/4 Facebook page, that the 1985 Interplay Productions RPG has been recovered for the Commodore Plus/4 by Csory and Siz. As in the words of the website. "Today, we put a period at the end of a very long story. We were talking about missing this release as far back as 2002, and many times after that. The good news: thanks to Csory and siz, we now have a working version of Bard's Tale"
And here's the details from the Facebook page. "34 years ! 34 years passed since we had our copies of ๐๐๐ซ๐'๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ ‐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ง๐ค๐ง๐จ๐ฐ๐ง being present but not working, due to bad spreading which didn't include the copy protection installed by the author. So, in 2025, straight from the preserved archive of ๐๐ฌ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ, here comes the working .G64 files! And this, completes the whole series of four! Now you can fully play the game! Thanks guys, mooore to cooome!"
