Fleshforward - Action survival horror by Linked Rooms Games gets an early demo

If the previous game we mentioned was way too cute and you want bloody horror instead, then how about Linked Rooms Games in development old-school survival horror game ' Fleshforward ', which has received its first PC demo. According to the developers, this first demo explores the beginning of the game and the player can try a lot of features such as action combat and stealth system with a glimpse of the main campaign!

Uncanny Valley - Survival horror for Indiegogo funding and Steam Greenlight

I do love my horror games and Uncanny Valley by TadejKupcic certainly looks to fill that spot. You play as a security guard named Tom at a remote facility, who, during a time of boredom decides to explore the facility and ends up finding things that he shouldn't. This is where it becomes interesting as the choices you make have consequences, fail at something and it may well affect your character and the story itself later on. Uncanny Valley is a survival horror game that includes a mix of exploring, discovering the story, solving puzzles and a bit of action. And for what I've seen so far looks bloody awesome! This game is up for your votes on Steam Greenlight and needs funding through Indiegogo, so what are you waiting for?

It seems as if developers can't get enough of the Horror genre, as another game wants to push the scare factor, and unlike other titles thus far, this is an Amnesia/Minecraft mix. The team behind this game is SKS Games and the special effects artist worked on both Tron and 300, so you'll know what to expect with the Horror. But what is the game really about? Well.... A new Survival Horror in an 8bit style is going to be released this Fall, and damn does it look gorishly good for an 8bit game. With influences from Zelda, Deadly Premonition or Lone Survivor you'll know what to expect with Catequesis. But be warned, this is no game for kiddies, as through the story you'll be met with blood, death and guts, how lovely.

Darkwood - Survival Horror

I do love a good horror and I'm sure many of our readers do too, so here comes DARKWOOD to fill that genre nicely.  Developed by Acid Wizard Studio, this is a top-down, survival horror set in a procedurally generated open world. It also features RPG and roguelike elements with some pretty damn fine combat thrown in as well.
