The Hero's Memory - Zelda Fan Based CRPG

A new Zelda Classic quest has been released by Aevin and it's a rather impressive one at that. Featuring a big overworld, containing 9 dungeons and 4 mini-dungeons that really keep to the feel of the original Zelda. As it's a CRPG or JPRG depending on who you ask, expect lots of role playing, with enemies to battle, items to collect, quests to achieve, puzzles and a brilliantly designed layout keeping to it's gaming roots.

What's even more impressive for this fan based game, is the fact that the game play is non-linear and you can even beat dungeons in many different ways. Many of the familiar enemies and characters return from the classic Zelda and of cause even the most important, Link and his sword.

But how are these Quests created? Well Zelda Classic quests are custom "games" built with the Zelda Classic Quest Editor. These quests use Zelda Classic as their engine, but the core is the original Legend of Zelda. Through the ages Zelda Classic has grown to have a massive fanbase with new quests all the time with new updates and features. At this point in time, Zelda Classic quests are so customizable, and have so many features, that it can be hard to tell that the core engine is the same as the Legend of Zelda.

When downloading quests, be sure that you have at least the version of Zelda Classic which is located here or here
