CPC Jewels - A colourful Columns game is coming to the Amstrad CPC via Amstrad ESP(ESP Soft)!

Another Amstrad news story for you all, as thanks to a heads up from our good friend XeNoMoRPH through the cpcwiki forums. We've been told that if you really enjoyed the 1984 game of Tetris or the 1989 game of Columns, at some point in the near future, Amstrad ESP(ESP SOFT) will be releasing the Columns based game of 'CPC Jewels' for the Amstrad CPC. To coincide with this news, you can check out the latest footage of the game viewable below.

The game CPC Jewels is a simple yet colourful puzzle game for the Amstrad CPC. It offers fun and entertainment and is based on the classic from 1990 by SEGA. The hunt for the coveted places in the leaderboard can be contested alone or in pairs. The game features colorful game play for both the young and old, a choice of 1 to 2 players, multiple control methods keyboard or joystick, timeless music and crips sound effects, and all of this available as a hotly anticipated full version for the Amstrad CPC as either a digital download or fully featured boxed tape!

  1. Aye, that looks pretty sweet for CPC.
Also this bit made me chuckle "our good friend XeNoMoRPH" because all the other xenomorphs are not our friends at all with all that brain munching or capturing us to get us impregnated with their lil sprogs. This one just brings us news of new retro games and such. lol
