RETREAM are back in the news, as after releasing games on different systems such as SkillGrid, QUOD INIT EXIT IIo, ArtPazz, MAH and Ring around the World. They have now made available their latest game called 'Gemdalus' for the Commodore Amiga. As in their words " If you were a fan of Oil's Well on your C64 you're going to love playing Gemdalus on your 68k Amiga from RETREAM". To coincide with this news, we've got some gameplay footage and details from the main website.
Here's the latest "PICK UP THE GEMS AND MIND THE PIPE! Gemdalus is an immediately accessible arcade game which challenges the player to pick up all the gems scattered about procedurally-generated mazes! Gemdalus has been written in AMOS Professional 2.00 and M68k assembly, without third-party add-ons. The executable has been produced with the AMOS Professional Compiler 2.00 and optimized with APEO. Thanks to the ALS library, it is a proper AGA game. It sports 8 bitplanes, 24-bit colors, multiple layers, transparencies and high-quality context-sensitive 28 kHz music!"
REQUIREMENTS
- Amiga computer, AGA chipset, 1.6 MB of CHIP RAM, 320 kB of other RAM, PAL-capable display, loudspeakers, keyboard and/or digital joystick, 900 kB of storage space (if installed), 8 units of NVRAM (on an Amiga CD³² without other storage capabilities)
