Brutal Doom 64 Update 1 - SGtMarkIV's enhanced Doom 64 gets a big update
Last month we gave everyone the heads up for SGtMarkIV's ' Brutal Doom 64 ', which took the original N64 game, put it through a bloody enhanced blender and made it available for the PC. It had all new special effects, particles, lightning and... basically the list was endless. But the creator wasn't finished with his overhauled work, as today out of the blue he released Brutal Doom 64 Update 1, which has new sounds such as new firing sounds for the pistol, added hitboxes for Zombies and Imps, better textures re-imported all textures from D64 Absolution in .png format, better lens flares on lamps and further improvements listed in the latest trailer featured below.

For a good while now we've been featuring many of SGtMarkIV's release updates for Brutal Doom, which as we said before many times was pretty much the bloodiest Doom mod we've come across. But today after much drooling SGtMarkIV has finally released ' Brutal Doom 64 ', the next bloody enhanced Doom but this time from the N64 original. It has all new special effects, particles, lightning, gore, sounds, more weapon animations (shotgun reloads, smoother minigun barrels, etc.) and much more to make this a very worthy download indeed.

Some time back now SGtMarkIV released the jaw dropping Brutal Doom, which was pretty much the bloodiest Doom mod we've played, with more gibs and guts than you could ever need in the classic Doom. But now SGtMarkIV has not only released a brand new trailer for Brutal Doom 64, the next PC overhaul in his line up from the Nintendo 64, but he has also announced the release date of next week October, 30th!

During the early part of this year SGtMarkIV released the latest Brutal Doom version of v20b. Pretty much the bloodiest Doom mod we've played with more gibs and guts than you could ever need in the classic Doom. But now SGtMarkIV has once again impressed us with his talents with a brand new video, featuring 24 minutes of Brutal Doom 64 gameplay. The next overhaul in his line up from the Nintendo 64!

Throughout last year and into this one, we've been featuring many of SGtMarkIV's release updates for Brutal Doom, which as we said before was pretty much the bloodiest Doom mod we've come across, with more gibs and guts than you could ever need in a first person shooter. But now after some hinting, the same creator has moved onto ' Brutal Doom 64 ', which according to SGt, "revitalizes the old Doom 64 with new special effects, particles, lightning, gore, new sounds, more weapon animations (shotgun reloads, smoother minigun barrels, etc.) and monsters and stuff cut from the original Nintendo 64 version". To coincide with this news, a new alpha footage tease has been released, and from what we've seen looks rather good!
