Project Horizon - An Alien blaster for the Commodore Amiga by Electric Black Sheep

Another day and another great news announcement for the Amiga scene, as we've just been informed by both Saberman and Tom, that Electric Black Sheep's previously announced in-development Amiga game called 'Project Horizon', has finally come out of development and released for you to download. Yes indeed this game that was mentioned some time ago, is an Amiga game inspired by basic shooting elements such as Commando, with a mix of Chaos Engine and a dab of Alien Breed.

XZAP - A Commodore Business Machines game from 1984 arrives on the Amiga

We've been told that if you remember playing the 1984 game called 'XZAP' by Commodore Business Machines, which was released for the Commodore 16 and Plus/4. Then as of today you can download the Commodore Amiga version by Electric Black Sheep. A recreation of that classic game, whereby your objective is to destroy all the aliens on each level, and so progress through 140 different levels. Revenge Of The Grinch - A little Christmas blaster from Electric Black Sheep for the Amiga!


Electric Black Sheep is back in the news, and while they have released games such as None of Us, Drag and Drop, Project Horizon Engine, Dual, and the incredible Arcade blaster of 'Star Dust Wars'. Today they turn their attention to a Christmas shooter called 'Revenge of the Grinch'. Although in no way as impressive as Star Dust Wars, it does have its own charm based on their "Dungeon of Evil" game with Christmas themed graphics and effects.

I have another banger of an Amiga game for you all, as thanks to a heads up from a good friend of ours, we have been told that Electric Black Sheep, who was also behind games such as None of Us, Drag and Drop, Project Horizon Engine and Dual, has released the Arcade blaster of 'Star Dust Wars'. A fan-made homage to the legendary Star Wars arcade game that captured the imagination of players worldwide back in 1987-88. To coincide with this news, Saberman has provided some footage of the game in action.

The same creator behind games such as Tale Of Evil, The Tower of Evil, Project - Quest and many others. A new game in which the developer states is "A remake of the classic cowboy/shootout games from Z80 machines". To coincide with this news, Saberman has provided some footage of the game below.

Pumpkin - A 2024 Halloween edition of the classic Pac-man game for the amiga!

More Amiga news this week as looking through the itch io website, we've found out that the developer of Electric Black Sheep. Who was behind games such as DUEL, Tale Of Evil and The Tower of Evil. Has released the Commodore Amiga game of Pumpkin! A 2024 Halloween edition of the classic Pac-man game for the amiga requiring only 1Mb Chip-Ram. To coincide with this news, Saberman has provided a game play video which as ever can be viewed below.

Tale Of Evil - An unofficial sequel of "Tower Of Evil" for the Commodore Amiga.

It was only just last week that the Amiga developer Electric Black Sheep, released the unofficial and minimalistic remake of The Tower of Evil. A top down action game which wasn't just released from 1984 to 1985 by Creative Sparks, but there was a later unofficial port by artlace/rebels for the Commodore 16, Plus/4, ZX Spectrum and VIC 20. Well here we are with another Amiga news story from this developer, as he has released 'Tale of Evil': an unofficial sequel of "Tower Of Evil" for the Commodore Amiga!

The Tower of Evil - An unofficial remake from the C16, plus4, C64, Z80 to Amiga

Another Commodore Amiga port to grace our home computer screens, is the unofficial and minimalistic remake of The Tower of Evil. A top down action game which wasn't just released from 1984 to 1985 by Creative Sparks, but there was a later unofficial port by artlace/rebels for the Commodore 16, Plus/4, ZX Spectrum and VIC 20. A game in which you play the role of Andros who was banished years ago by King Salimos and can only return when he rescues the kidnapped Princess Diana and finds the King's lost treasure taken by an evil Necromancer!

Skinvaders - In dev Space Invaders clone for the Commodore Amiga gets a new WIP version

I'm sure many of you remember Space Invaders, a game that was first released way back in 1978 in the Arcades in Japan with a further release made available in the United States and a much later version in the 1980's on the Atari 2600.  Well if you do remember it and all the money lost down at the Arcades, you'll be interested to know that as of today, you can download the latest Space Invaders clone of 'Skinvaders' A work in progress AMOS game by Electric Black Sheep that is in development for the Commodore Amiga!

We've seen lots of Space Invader variants over the years, from Havie's Blitz Basic version of the game on the Amiga, to our personal favourite from Pink/Abyss called 'Tiny Invaders'. Well yet again we've been sent another version of Space Invaders for you to download and try out, and it's Electric Black Sheep's latest update of Skinvaders'; A game in which the creator says is a simple game as a small size simple code developed prototype. Projects in the attic - A testing-ground for wannabe projects and/or wasted possibilities for the Commodore Amiga

Even though the highlight of this week just has to be the awesome release of the C64/C128 version of Eye of the Beholder, it's still worth mentioning this latest news story sent to us by Per Ola Eriksson and Saberman. As they have told us, that Electric Black Sheep who were behind the upcoming Amiga games of 'Project Quest' and 'None of Us', have made available a ton of games that were used as testing-ground for wannabe projects and/or wasted possibilities for the Commodore Amiga. In light of this news, Saberman has also done a number of videos of these games viewable below.

Drag & Drop - A new Block Puzzle game released for the Amiga by Electric Black Sheep

I'm terrible at Puzzle games! Not only that, but trying to write an article regarding anything Puzzle related just isn't my strong point. Still if you like puzzle games and have an Amiga, you might like this latest news story, as Electric Black Sheep has recently released a new Amiga game called Drag & Drop; a game that not only features an easy and survivor mode, but also time attack, extreme, baby, unpredictable, inverse and virus.
