A new monochrome platformer has sliced its way onto the ZX Spectrum, courtesy of developer Xeif. Titled as 'Kizuna', this stylized black-and-white release frames its story through the lens of a classic comic book, using expressive pixel art to transform each game screen into a comic panel. The story follows the ninja Hanzo on a high-stakes mission to escort a young girl named Hana through a treacherous world cloaked in shadow. Rather than relying solely on mindless combat, the game challenges players with varied gameplay scenarios and obstacles that require patience, and clever problem-solving to overcome.
