Terra Incognita is a turn-based RPG heavily influenced by retro games such as the Final Fantasy series and Suikoden 2. If you crave for a long, story-driven RPG in the style of games gone by BackToBasicsGaming might be on to a corker.
The game boasts of a 'gripping storyline', 'tons of side quests' and 'lots and lots of dungeon crawling, looting and monster hunting away from the main story'! All these and the early gameplay footage in the Kickstarter video make the game sound and look like an interesting prospect! The developers also promise a long game (from the video over 20 hours) so you should get your money's worth!
With the Kickstarter goal of a modest £500 surpassed and two stretch goals already met the game will be released in December 2013. Further pledging will allow the developers to introduce some extra stretch goals to the game such as extra costumes, an old school jrpg/rpg museum and an enhanced game. For the minimum pledge of £1 you get a copy of the game, so why not pledge, I did!
