As we've just been contacted through both Facebook and Twitter, that as from today, you can download the latest game release of The Doom Of The Pond. Furillo Productions' first interactive text adventure for the ZX Spectrum 128k that was created under a customization of the MK1 128K Framework from the Mojon Twins
The Doom Of The Pond is a horror based text adventure game featuring a story of ancient legends, a cult of priestesses, horrible monsters, and killer clowns. A text adventure is a game where all the interaction takes places with text and you instruct the player by issuing commands. What makes this game different from other text based adventure games, is instead of the usual parser based inputs such as GET, EAT, GO North, The Doom of The Pond uses a menu based approach including keyboard and fire for selection.
