Motorhead by Cobe‏ - An Amiga CD32 release in honour of Lemmy

You may have already heard the news by now but yesterday the legend that is Lemmy of Motorhead passed away at the age of 70 who died after learning of cancer diagnosis on Boxing Day.  Ian Fraser "Lemmy" Kilmister was a musician, singer, and songwriter who founded and led the rock band Motörhead. His music and lifestyle was a distinctive part of the heavy metal genre! As such in honour of this fine person, Cobe has done a full conversion with two button hack by Earok of the Amiga game ' Motorhead ', which is based on his persona waiting in the wings.

We have done this game ages ago as a The Company.PL release, which means you could play it on a PC. But as this is the Amiga CD32 version, it's probably best I give you a little bit of info about the game before you rush off and download it. Motorhead is an unusual beat em up game first released in 1992 by Virgin. You play as Motorhead's leadman Lemmy Kilmister, kicking ass through multiple side scrolling levels, using both guitar and fists to punch your way to the top.

Although this game is no Double Dragon, it is still enjoyable to play and features different enemy types for each level, fresh pick ups, different backgrounds, sub games, and ass kicking arcade action. But what makes release different than that version is this one contains the music video ' Ace of Spades ' as the intro video, thanks to some handy work by Cobe.

Uses: WHDLoad by Wepl, slave by Codetapper
ISO Master and CDXL conversion: Cobe
Button 2 hack: Earok

In all this is a great release and will at least bring some happy light to a rather grim end to 2015 - RIP Lemmy 1945 - 2015
