During this year we've always tried to keep you up to date with the latest happenings with A1200.net and their Amiga case and Keycap Kickstarters. And so we announced the very successful crowd funding campaign for the latest Amiga cases which at this time is still on course for a December delivery which includes your choice of colours pledged during the campaign. But there is a downside to all of this and that isn't any possible delays, but the keycap Kickstarter is still only at $77,080 pledged of a $102,000 goal. Which means for the time being you'll get a lovely new case and accessories but not so much the beauty of the cases teased in the video below.
Another point, we usually go on about the design process or feature many of the perks available to each backer but as it has already been mentioned many times before, we will just say you are seriously missing out if the Amiga keycap Kickstarter isn't a success as well. This is especially the case if you want to make your Amiga look fancy enough to come across like an Amiga CD32 in the first image, or the image below one member did, to make it look like an Amstrad CPC 464.
So again it all comes down to you make this another success but unlike the very frustrating situation with the C64 keycap campaign which was unrelated to A1200.net and left us giving up in anger, this crowdfunding campaign looks far more promising. I personally can't wait for my new case, but those keys I WANT THEM NOW!
