Boss Machine - Upcoming Amiga shoot em up looks seriously cool

Another great day for retro gamers and more especially if you have a Commodore Amiga, as we've just been informed by Kevin through our Commodore Amiga Facebook group, that the cool looking Shoot em up of ' Boss Machine ', has been teased again with new footage. As mentioned by our previous write up even though the game is using temporary assets from other games which will be changing with every new video update, Boss Machine is a high quality AGA shoot em up in development by Daniel Stephens‎, Kevin Saunders and Lee Smith, that will probably look different from the early teaser videos.

As noted by our previous write up as no further details have been given. According to Daniel, he has said he has been working on this game for classic Amigas with Kevin Saunders pixel genius (who is also very busy) with screaming beats by Lee Smith, and that he hopes to finish it some time in 2020. As for other pieces of information again from our previous write up, the team behind the game are aiming for a Thunderforce IV style shooter as seen on Megadrive/Genesis, in which they hope to push the Amiga's limits using vertical scroll with lots of horizontal screens.
