The Snowman - A PC remake of the 1980's game by Quicksilva from Langford Productions

If you're feeling festive and want to play some Christmas games then come and check out the newest of releases from Langford Productions called 'The Snowman'. A PC remake of the 1980's game by Quicksilva based on the book by Raymond Briggs and probably the cartoon on which Aled Jones sung. To coincide with this news, we've got some gameplay footage from Rowland Reviews and the full details of this release provided below.

Here's the full details. "Your task is to build and protect a Snowman through four stages. First, collect six snow pieces to build the Snowman while dodging gas flames. Ice Lollies freeze them briefly and add bonus points. Flashing Christmas items boost your score, while festive food restores energy. On the next two stages, gather the Snowman’s accessories—scarf, smile, trousers, torch—while avoiding Sleep Monsters, neutralized by Alarm Clocks. In the final stage those flames are back. Collect Ice Cubes to keep your Snowman from melting. Complete all four stages to unlock a new layout and continue the challenge. Play with improved, colourful graphics and festive music or with original Spectrum graphics and sound."
