Mutant Monty, Street Fighter II and Hyper Sports weren't the only games to see ports to different computers this week, as I've been informed through Facebook that Fregarni has ported the 8bit classic of 'Three Weeks in Paradise' over to the MSX. A port of the classic Spectrum and Amstrad CPC title that shockingly wasn't released for MSX back in the day. To coincide with this news, provided below is the latest footage and game info from the MSXDev25 competition page.
And here's the details. "If you remember Pyjamarama, you remember Wally. If you don’t, go check the entry from past year’s dev contest, thank us later. Wally has gone on holidays with his family to an idyllic island. Except that the island is inhabited by fierce local natives called “The Clan Nibbles”. These locals have captured his family, and -given the clan name- most likely are planning to eat them. Can you really blame them? You were technically trespassing, and they were just hungry. And now, as usual in games, it is up the player to save everyone again. Help Wally rescue his family in this colorful action-puzzle adventure where there are lots of items to interact with and progress toward returning safely. He can not do it without you!"
