Worldwide Hunting from Golem Games - A surprise Scoopex cracked release for the Amiga!
If you're against real life hunting of any form, but prefer shooting game pixels instead, then you might be interested to know that as of today, Scoopex have for the first time ever, cracked the full version of Worldwide Hunting, which was originally released by Golem Games for the Amiga as a game for the Golem Light Gun Package. Basically think of the game as duck hunt, except far more advanced in the graphical compartment and more animals!
Ziriax 100% (Ultimate Edition) - The only full Amiga working version that exists!
In 1990 Software Business with development by The Whiz Kidz, released the side-scrolling shoot em up Ziriax for the Amiga, which was very similar to games such as R-Type or even Gradius. This game featured an action packed experience with five stages of shoot em up gameplay with each level containing an end of level boss. It's just a shame that during its many years of release not only was there not a fully working ADF of the game but according to some it has a few in game issues of its own...
Feud +6DGF - A personal favourite is NTSC fixed and trainered via C64
One game that really stood out for me in the 80's and a game that is buried deep into my brain for all time, is Binary Design's and published by Bulldog Software's fighting sorcerers game ' Feud ', which has since been updated by Hokuto Force on the C64. This game that star'd two powerful twin sorcerers who hated each other named as Learic and Leanoric. Required the player to collect ingredients to mix into a cauldron to create defensive and offensive spells to defeat Leanoric, who had cast an aging curse on Learic and is also still out to get you.
OUTLANDS 100% - Scoopex cracks and fixes a 1980's Amiga Shooter!
We've just been contacted by our good friend Earok, that Galahad/FLT has re-released the 1989 shooter 'Outlands' as a 100% crack and fixed release through one of the finest sceners of our generation, Scoopex. This game is a top scrolling shoot em up published by Pandora and was your typical game of the genre featuring enemy waves to be destroyed, weapons upgrades and powerups and bosses at the end of a level. Although the game did feature a two player mode, which made the game much more fun.
Rogue +6DGM - A nice C64 roguelike fixed and fully playable by Hokuto Force
Moving on from all the tasty game jams we now look towards the C64, as Hokuto Force have released an enhanced, fixed, trainered and fully playable version of 'Rogue', which was originally released in the 1980's for the Amstrad CPC, C64 and ZX Spectrum under the Mastertronic Label, with other versions for the Amiga, DOS, Macintosh, TOPS-20, TRS-80 CoCo and Unix. Regarded as a turn-based dungeon crawling roguelike, you are an adventurer that must explore the Dungeons of Doom, to retrieve the precious Amulet of Yendor!
Arctic Moves - Gun blasting platformer as an Amiga port gets the Flashtro treatment
Only last month we gave you the heads up over a very special Amiga release with the Atari ST to Amiga port announcement of ' Arctic Moves ' by Meynaf. Well you'll be pleased to know if you found the addictive yet incredibly difficult action platformer sequel to Navy Moves too much for you, Flashtro (SIRIaX) has released the latest trainer to make life that little bit easier!
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade : The Action Game - A working Amiga crack and trainer by Flashtro!
I'm sure many of you have a huge stash of Amiga hardware and games, more especially taking up space on a big internal CF drive. So you might be pleased to learn that Lucasfilm Games 1989 action platformer, and not to be confused with the adventure game of the same name ' Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade', was recently crack fixed with an updated trainer by our good friends Flashtro (Musashi9).
WARP - Thalion's Amiga Shooter cracked with a trainer by Flashtro
I'm sure many of you have a huge stash of Amiga hardware and games, more especially taking up space on a big internal CF drive (ahem 4GB+). So you might be pleased to learn that Thalion Software's 1989 multi-directional shooter called ' WARP', was recently cracked with a trainer by our good friends Flashtro. Although not the best of Thalion's games, it does feature lots of action filled landscapes and warp tunnels as you try to destroy energy stations.
Blasteroids 101% +6DGHF - Hokuto Force enhances a great C64 shooter!
Hokuto Force is at it again, as after a few days of image teasing ( Which I knew what was coming ), Hokuto Force has released a very special C64 edition of the classic shooter ' Blasteroids '! This is in fact the second official sequel to the 1979 shoot em up of Asteroids, but in my opinion the original developers took the classic game and turned into a blaster of epic proportions.
Hideous Bill & the Gi-Gants - It's almost like Pacman for the C64 but with Ants!
Hokuto Force gave us the heads up last night to mention their latest trainered release of ' Hideous Bill & the Gi-Gants ' which was first published by Virgin Games, way back in 1983! In this Pacman style game, you must follow the instructions carefully before starting each mission to make sure you know how to rescue your lady friend Greta from being Ant food. Unlike Pacman this game is far more involved as each level differs, from squashing eggs, to using items to opening up mechanisms. Now once again this cool game has been re-released by Hokuto Force but with 4 Trainers, Dox, a HS Saver, the ingame reset protection was removed and as bonus they added a pic inspired to the sci-fi movies of the 50's in black and white
Que +2 - Rare Jupiter Lander style game for the C64
The second and last game for mention and again by Hokuto Force, is the Jupiter Lander/Thrust style game of ' Que ' supplied by G-Force. A pretty simple game to understand but hard to complete, you must land your ship on the platforms below, without touching any of the sharp mountain edges. This sounds simple enough but the problem is, it requires quick timing and fast reaction times, because if you don't think fast your ship might just go the wrong way and crash!
The Last Ninja +11DM 100% - A hit C64 classic gets a very special Hokuto Force release
Today is Sunday, a time of rest and relaxation, so what better way to spend this day than to play a hit C64 classic that pretty much everyone has heard of from the 80's and 90's. It's one of System 3's greatest action adventure games from 1987 'The Last Ninja'; which has now been re-released as a +11DM 100% by Hokuto Force with more than just a quick improvement. The scene guru's have cracked the game from the Activision disk version, added missing music between the parts, 11 trainers, docs and also IFFL packed on one side with customized loader by FIX/Hokuto Force.
Blap 'n Bash - TND have gone breakout C64 crazy!
Today's special C64 release by TND ( The New Dimension ) is not a SEUCK development, but a game that takes the Breakout way of playing and turns it completely on it's head. Coded by Richard, ' Blap 'n Bash ' has the usual bat styled game play but adds that something extra which makes the game both unique to play while completely screwing with your mind!
Behemoth Preview - A shooter of an Armalyte C64 clone!
Another Onslaught crack today and this one is a little bit special for those of you who remember the awesome C64 shooter 'Armalyte', released way back in 1988. Although this is not a full game with only level 1 as 100% complete and the others half that, 'Behemoth Preview' supplied by Jazzcat is classed as an Armalyte clone that was originally meant for the budget label, however the game was never finished because the crew went over to the Amiga. Now thanks to Onslaught you can play the first level and test out the others, but be warned, as we said it isn't finished.
Moonraker +2 - Obscure C64 shooter cracked by Onslaught
Onslaught are on fire today as they've also released Hires Software's C64 game 'Moonraker', which was an obscure shooter first appearing in a 1980's Norwegian magazine called Mikrodata. In this game which is a little bit like space invaders, you must defend your cities using a Space Shuttle from the alien threat, which is not only being bombarded by sphere like objects but also from the UFO which zips from one side to the other.
Spaced Out Preview - Early Alpha of an unfinished C64 release
Another release by Laxity today is Steve Morrow's 1992 C64 game of 'Spaced Out', which is now available as a very early almost non playable preview. According to a member by the name of Goat on the CSDb site, this game was only shown as a YouTube video, yet Laxity was able to find the source code, repair it, debug and release. However don't expect much from this game(?) as apart from a few screens and a moving shooting character, there's really not much that can be done.
Zorro +5D - Hokuto Force slices its way through a C64 Z classic
While we did say that we had finished with the retro releases today, we didn't expect a brilliant crack tro (We Are) from Hokuto Force's latest cracked release of Zorro! Yes indeed, Hokuto Force are back with another fine C64 game, and none other than the action sword fighting platformer way back from 1985 developed by Datasoft. The evil Sergeant Garcia has kidnapped a beautiful seƱorita and imprisoned her in his fort, it's down to you as the hero, to rescue her from his evil hands!
Scarabaeus - Egyptian C64 classic cracked by Onslaught
Way back in the time of the Egyptians and of the ancient Pyramids, an astronaut and his dog has to explore an Egyptian tomb to find the Pharaohs Jewel, the problem was (which isn't shown) you get bit by a spider, so not only are you trying to locate the gem, you need to find the medicine to stop the poison before you die. Welcome to 'Scarabaeus', a rather interesting 3D Maze game with a fantastic soundtrack originally developed by Andromeda Software, and released in 1985 for the C64 which has now been re-released by Onslaught with a cheat trainer.
Rent a Cop 36D - Hackersoft releases another awesome C64 crazy hack!
Although this game has been out for a week or so now, but officially not for us, we are pleased to announce that 'Rent A Cop' Crazy Hacked for the C64 by Vinny of Hackersoft is now available to download from the main Hackersoft website. Originally a RGCD cartridge competition entry in 2012 published by Achim Volkers, you play as a mall cop and must stop a thief from reaching the mall roof with all the stolen goods.
On the Farm - Eat all the crops in this fun C64 release!
Moving on from the fast paced racer it's now time for a bit of Crazy Hack Arcade fun with 'On the Farm'. A previous C64 release by Achim Volkers that is once again available but with cheats. You are a sheep (no not Shaun the sheep ) who has just escaped from his farm pen and is running riot around various fields while destroying Farmer Dave's crops.
