JANI 2 - A new seuck C64 game by Oliver Orosz gets a sequel

Just a month after talking about Oliver Orosz's SEUCK top scrolling shooter of ' JANI ', we have just been given the heads up by Aaron White of RGDS Podcast, that the same developer has released the sequel ' JANI 2 ' for the C64. Although very similar in game play it has completely different landscape colour schemes and enemy designs.

When we first did C64 reviews, the very first device that we showed off was Shareware Plus's 'uCassette'. It enabled users of the C64, to play tapes via your mobile or audio equipment directly into the C64 as MP3 or Wav files. Well that same company has sent us a new cartridge called the ' 1541 Diagnostic Cartridge ', which if you've got a 1541 disk drive, would be a highly regarded item to add to your ever growing list of accessories.

Before I even had the chance to play this C64 release by Oliver Orosz, what caught my eye was the attention to detail in both the landscape and the character in the supplied screenshot via the CSDb website. As such I rushed off to download the seuck game called ' JANI ' and was ready for what I would hope would be an enjoyable game that wasn't all about the image in front of me. Thankfully I wasn't let down.
