Knightlore - Ultimate Play the Game classic gets a full Z80 Conversion to the C64

Although I am not a fan of the Ultimate Play the Games, even if they still do have a huge cult following and classed as a great collectors item. We couldn't put aside the fact that thanks to a heads up by our good friend Steven Day, that the C64 port of ' Knightlore ' has since been made available as a full Z80 conversion to the C64 by Rod and Emu! Originally a 1984 action-adventure by Ultimate Play the Game, this was an isometric title and written by company founders Chris and Tim Stamper. It was also available for the ZX Spectrum, BBC Micro, Amstrad CPC, MSX and Famicom Disk System!

Pentagram v.1.20 - Knightlore sequel ported to the C64 with a cool update!

In April of this year @hayes_maker did a great write up, mentioning Rod & Emu's C64 port of the ZX Spectrum classic ' Pentagram ', which originally was released by 'Ulimate Play the Game' in 1986.  It was the fourth in the Sabreman series, following on from his adventures in Sabre Wulf, Underwurlde and Knight Lore and was played in an isometric viewpoint. Well after a number of write ups the game has now received a v1.20 update with improvements such as SID music by Saul Cross!

Knightlore - Ultimate Play the Game classic gets an Amiga update

At the beginning of this month, we gave you the heads up via a big article mention, for tcdev's Amiga port of ' Knightlore ', which originally was an Ultimate Play the Game classic for systems such as the Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum. Although it did drop a few jaws at the chance for people to play such a brilliant classic on the Amiga, many felt that apart from the bugs, the biggest negative was the black and white colourless detail, which really lacked for a port such as this. Well you'll be pleased to know, the developer may well be bringing the CPC graphics over to the Amiga version!
