Pentagram v.1.20 - Knightlore sequel ported to the C64 with a cool update!

In April of this year @hayes_maker did a great write up, mentioning Rod & Emu's C64 port of the ZX Spectrum classic ' Pentagram ', which originally was released by 'Ulimate Play the Game' in 1986.  It was the fourth in the Sabreman series, following on from his adventures in Sabre Wulf, Underwurlde and Knight Lore and was played in an isometric viewpoint. Well after a number of write ups the game has now received a v1.20 update with improvements such as SID music by Saul Cross!

Well you'll be pleased to know that the C64 port has received a bug fix update, that makes it the definite version for any C64 owner.

Ported from the ZX Spectrum to the Atari 8bit back in March, this port of Pentagram gets some exclusive Commodore features: Such as supporting the 2nd fire button on C64GS compatible joysticks, 25% speed up on C128, and new screen and sprite blitting routines.  Also immortality, mega jump, teleportation and time bending cheats to help you through this rather tough isometric adventure.

Ultimate Play The Game : Pentagram - Final port release for the Atari 8bit!

This is just madness, in just one week we've had the classic Manic Miner released for the Atari XL/XE, Ocean Software's 1987 isometric hit game 'Head Over Heels', which was remade for the MSX2, and now Ultimate Play The Game's 1986 of ' Pentagram ', has finally been released as a port for the Atari 8bit by Mariuszw. If you don't remember the game Pentagram, It is the fourth in the Sabreman series, following on from his adventures in Sabre Wulf, Underwurlde and Knight Lore and was played in an isometric viewpoint.

Although I am not a fan of the Ultimate Play the Games, even if they still do have a huge cult following with some titles going over £100 on Ebay. We couldn't help but notice the work in progress Atari 8bit port of ' Pentagram ' which is being ported from the ZX Spectrum version by mariusz and made available since yesterday. Originally released by Ultimate Play The Game in 1986. It is the fourth in the Sabreman series, following on from his adventures in Sabre Wulf, Underwurlde and Knight Lore.
