AMIner - An Arcade mining game released for the Amiga gets an update

Another Amiga announcement has just arrived from Saberman, as he has just told us a previous Amiga game that was released in March of this year called ' AMIner ' has been updated to ver. 19.6.9, which features a number of improvements. This previous game listed in the EAB game development contest 2019, is an Arcade game that is not only based on a Motherload flash game, but also looks like an inspiration to Mr. Driller Drill Spirits, which was originally released on the Nintendo DS.

As we said before, AMIner was first submitted during the RetroKomp Gamedev Compo as a work in progress, where it scored 2nd place. This version however is a far more complete game as it was not only developed by KaiN, Softiron and mccnex, but features all the graphics in lovely 32 colours, lots of new graphical detail, different colour palettes on different depths, the ability to collect dinosaur bones while digging ever downwards, initial work on a story mode and all working on an Amiga KS1.3, with 1MB Chip and a bit of FAST.... Although there's still no music in game!

Bug Fixes :

19.6.9
- Added navigation buttons and tabs to commrade in shop
- Fixed garbled screen on start
- Added game icon
- 2nd player's controls in Commrade are now disabled in single player mode
- Initial work on warehouse tab in shop
