Bagman Strikes Back - A fabulous C64 homage to Bagman, an arcade game released by Valadon Automation in 1982

We've certainly had our fair share of Arcade games mentioned on Indie Retro News over the years, from Tapper, to Puzzle Bobble, and yes even Space Invaders. But another game has just caught our attention and worthy of a mention on IRN, and it's LC-Games latest C64 homage to the 1980's 'Bagman' and sequel to Bagman Comes Back called 'Bagman Strikes Back'; a C64 game that's available to download through the itch.io website as a version that is made up of 24 completely new stages.

According to the wiki for the original game of Bagman which is what the game is based on, The objective of the game is to maneuver the bagman through various mine shafts, picking up money bags and placing them in a wheelbarrow at the surface of the mine. The player must avoid pursuing enemies, moving ore carts, and descending elevators. The player may temporarily stun the guards by striking them with a pickaxe or by dropping money bags on them when they are below the player on the same ladder. The player may move between the three screens which make up the level via shafts and on the surface.
