Leisure Suit Larry WIC64MEX demo - This demo focuses on showcasing a new WiC64 feature called WiC64mex.

The 1987 hit adventure game of Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards by Sierra, has been used as a showcast for a new WiC64 feature for the Commodore 64 called WiC64mex. Which enables games to trigger music, speech and sound effects over the internet via the WiC64 hardware. Do be aware however, even though this is pretty impressive, it's still only a showcast by RetroBytes. Larry: In the Land of the Lounge Lizards which is in development for the C64 by the same creator is still a long way to go before completition.

Here's the latest. "This demo focuses on showcasing a new WiC64 feature called WiC64mex. WiC64mex is a backend system that allows a C64 to trigger music, speech and sound effects over the internet via the WiC64 hardware. The goal of this demo is to give an impression of how voice output and extended audio features could work in future C64 projects. The scene used in this demo is taken from the bar area of Leisure Suit Larry. It is not part of the full game – it's simply a separate, experimental preview to demonstrate the WiC64mex system. If there is enough community interest, a fully voiced version of the complete game could be considered in the future."
