SkillGrid - A wicked AGA Shoot em up for the Commodore Amiga gets a BIG beta download for FREE!

Check out that lovely boxed edition via RGCD which has since sold out!

Even more Indie Retro News for this week and one I think you'll agree is pretty damn awesome especially if you have a Commodore Amiga! As we've just been told by our good friend Saberman, that the previously released Shoot 'em up called ' SkillGrid ', has just received a big beta download. A new version of the game which is not only FREE by RETREAM but it goes to help the victims of the ever worsening conflict in Ukraine.

This AGA based game available as a digital download, features not just original gameplay based on shooting at enemies and catching/dodging of cells. But also an impressive amount of parallax layers (2 of which generated procedurally) scrolling at variable speed, 1 fixed layer for the HUD, real time palette changes, tiny sprites, pixel-perfect collision detection, an awesome high quality prog-rock music and much much more all available at the link below. So yes certainly a game that's well worth playing, and even more so as it's now free with one BIG update.
