Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures [Greenlight]

As an avid viewer of all things Angry Video Game Nerd, I am eagerly awaiting his debut movie, which is sure to become a cult smash internet hit when it is released later this year. For now though I'd like to bring to everyone's attention this Steam Greenlight title 'Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures', which stars the Nintendo Nerd in hopefully epic retro-ness against all sorts of video game evils.

This game could be so much win, by making a game out of the bizzare situations the nerd finds himself in. Hopefully there'll be more than a nod or two to his long running series with bosses like Super Mecha Death Christ (or was he an ally?).

Details are sparse at the mo, but hopefully more details will emerge soonish as this is a work in progress title by developers Screwattack (the website). Either this game will rock, as hopefully it will, or it'll be a shit sandwich as the nerd would say and hopefully he'll review it, sounds like a win-win situation to me!

Influenced by retro classics Mega Man and Castlevania, Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures features the AVGN and friends as they blast their way through 10 levels of fun, fast paced 2D action based on the AVGN's adventures in his online series. With multiple playable characters, power ups, cameos galore, tons of secrets and more we're making a game that all fans of video games will enjoy.

Looks pretty awesome I reckon, so get voting if you love the Nerd and want to see a cool little spin off retro title.

This is doing really well on steam, after only being up for 24 hours it's into the top 50, such is the popularity of the Nerd!

You can also post suggestions for what you'd like to see in the game to the developers here. Yep.. Greenlight is awesome! Personally I'd like to see co-op with Kyle Justin!
