Hired Guns - An Amiga Sci-fi experience like no other on the PC

As its my Birthday today, I thought it best to celebrate by mentioning one of the best games on the Amiga, 'Hired Guns', which has been packaged together with FS-UAE for playability on the PC by GamesNostalgia. First released in 1993 for both Amiga and DOS, this game was the highlight of my gaming youth developed by DMA Design and published by Psygnosis. It put you in charge of 4 mercenaries lured into a trap! A weapons proving ground whereby you must defend yourself against genetically engineered creatures.

Hired Guns was and still is an incredible game, one of the best games to have in your collection. If you are a fan of the dungeon crawler such as Eye of the Beholder, but want to be able to blast enemies to pieces with crazy fire arms in a multiple 4 player control split screen experience or be followed in real time by different enemy types, then this is the game to own.

Oh yes and it also had unique areas such as underwater areas, decayed brown or lush landscapes, an easy to use inventory management system with multiple character types and of course the great music and sounds that had a very atmospheric experience. One of the best games ever and one you should download and play today!
