Battle Kingdom - An exciting new C64 action adventure game that's worthy of a download!

I haven't been awake for very long but that didn't stop me from writing this great news story on IRN, as we've recently been informed via Facebook, that Psytronik Software in association with ICON 64 has released their new game of Battle Kingdom as a digital download. As in their words "An exciting new C64 action adventure game! Travel back to the days of yore and do battle in a kingdom besieged by mighty dragons and other dark forces."

In this game you play as the mighty Sir Bob on a quest to rid the once tranquil kingdom of the evil that has taken over the town and its hapless townspeople. The kingdom has been overrun by evil wraiths, undead souls, savage beasts and evil dragons, and the only way to win is to explore the kingdom, enter the buildings, dispatch the evil minions, gather all the Master Sword pieces, enter the castle, and defeat the mighty dragon to rescue a beautiful princess. The game features high-res sprites, 8 princesses to rescue, big boss battles, atmospheric soundtracks, and all of this as PAL, NTSC or C64 compatible!

For those of you who want more for your gaming, and love collecting boxed editions, will be pleased to learn that BATTLE KINGDOM is also available to order as a COLLECTOR' S EDITION in a stunning full colour printed glossy box that contains the C64 game on 5.25" floppy disk with fantastic artwork by Trevor Storey. Premium+/budget disk versions and tape versions of the game are also available.
