AIR WAR - Amsoft classic as a ZX Speccy inspiration by fitosoft as an exercise in Basic!

Whenever someone mentions Harrier Attack I always think of the times spent on the Amstrad CPC, playing that awesome game by Amsoft released way back in 1984; a game in which you play as a British Harrier Jet, and could fly across the landscape on bombing runs destroying both enemy buildings and aircraft. Thankfully other retro gamers love this classic which appeared on the CPC, C64, Oric and ZX Spectrum, as Fitosoft has released his own personal take on the game called AIR WAR for the Speccy!

According to Fitosoft, AIR WAR is a compiled basic version of HARRIER ATTACK, as an exercise in Basic where the coder had a lot of fun programming with the help of his/her partner Siyei Er. In terms of the gameplay however, you are once again in control of a Harrier Jet, but this time on a scouting mission, must avoid anti-aircraft, helicopters over the sea, the mountains, and the city to deliver the results of your exploration to the high command.
