Operation Neptune - A Dinamic Software game by Narciso that never was, gets a C64 preview

Year after year we usually go on about the latest C64 games and unreleased titles seeing the light of day for the very first time, well here are with another unreleased game for you to "play test" , as thanks to our good friends GamesThatWeren't announcing it on Twitter, you too can try out a preview download of the unreleased game of 'Operation Neptune'. A game that was not only produced by Narciso Quintana, but it never got to see its full potential as at the time he was a minor and his parents never gave him permission to work in Madrid. GTW were noted as saying "The contract with Dinamic was terminated and the graphics were property of Dinamic, so Narciso couldn’t finish the game".

Narciso later went to work for Topo Soft and was music composer for a number of titles such as The Black Crown at Mad Mix Games 2. As for Operation Neptune which GTW goes on to say " – it only ever got as far as a simple test demo, with a score panel, enemies and a looping map. It has early promise, but there isn’t a huge amount to see so far and a lot more work was required to finish it off. The sprites were later re-used in Navy Moves. However, thanks to Narciso, we have been able to add the demo to the archives, so you can see a glimpse of a Dinamic game that never was".
