Tenebra 2 - An atmospheric puzzle game for the C64 and Plus4 is finally here

An early morning heads up for all the retro gamers out there, as we've recently been trawling the itch io website, and have found out that the atmospheric game of Tenebra by Haplo, which was released in 2021. Has now got an official sequel of  'Tenebra 2' for the C64 and Plus/4! To coincide with this news, not only can you download the game right now, but at some point today Saberman will also do a gameplay video too.

Tenebra is an atmospheric puzzle game with rogue-like elements. Guide the hapless protagonist to the exit, but also keep in mind that he is afraid of darkness and refuses to walk in the dark areas. The first game in the series which is still available to play, contained 25 levels and works on both PAL and NTSC machines. For those of you who want to know if the first game was any good which is the reason I'm excited to play this 35 chapter sequel later today. People have been giving positive feedback such as "Really nice game Haplo. Great work!" and "I couldn't stop playing! This is one of the best C64 game for me. It's completely to my taste. Thank you!"

  1. Hello.

I bought it right after I saw it was released. I kept the codes from the demo so it helps me starting at level 9 instead of 1 :)

After 30 minutes, I manage to go to level 19. It is a great game, simple but addictive. With 35 levels, you have a lot of tricks to find and finish every level.

    Highly recommended.
