Lunar City - An action blaster by TND released for the Commodore 64 [Final Version Update]

It's time for the Commodore 64 community to get a retro gaming news heads up, as earlier today we were informed by our good friend and Youtubber Saberman, that TND has released a new game for the C64 called 'Lunar City'; A challenging space shooting gallery type of game that's available to download or play online via itch io! To coincide with this news, Saberman has also done a video showing the game in action.

According to the website. "This is a fun and challenging space shooting gallery type of game which was inspired by Atlantis for the ATARI, but slightly different as you'll experience for yourselves! The game features not just a nicely presented loading bitmap with loading music, but a front end presentation with Drum 'n Bass style music, an end scene presentation, Hi score table with saver (if playing in disk mode), 16 action-packed levels with an increasing level of difficulty, arcade style sound effects, 4 different landscapes and finally 8 different aliens (where newer aliens will appear after completing every fourth level)".

  1. Nicely done! Yes it feels like Atlantis but definitely a keeper. I’d play this one daily 👍🏼

  2. i don't like the look of the starfield (looks more like noise), but the game seems pretty good and challenging.

  3. Regarding the starfield: sometimes the less the better. Anyway, gfx and music is outstanding!
