Amiga Man - A megaman like game is teased as an early prototype for the Amiga by MainakeProject

Amiga Man has just been unveiled through an early-stage test build for the Commodore Amiga. Harkening back to the peak era of platformers such as the legendary megaman, the project aims to deliver a heavy dose of fast-paced nostalgic gameplay .The software was crafted specifically as a playable demonstration for the upcoming Posadas 2026 tech event. Despite being an early teaser, this initial preview provides a substantial chunk of gameplay, while the creator has stated that is a lot of work to be done to bring it up to the standards we expect of todays homebrews.

Here is the latest from the creator. Just to let everyone know, this is a very early build of the game that we prepared for the Posadas event(link). We had some last-minute build issues, so we had to use this version for the show. Because of that, the demo has very few checkpoints and the difficulty is much higher than we originally intended. We're already rebalancing the game based on the feedback we've received. The final game will also include parallax scrolling and several additional visual effects that haven't been implemented yet. Even so, this demo already features one full level, a mid-level boss, and a really cool final boss. We're also very proud that the soundtrack is 100% original, and the game still has plenty of surprises to reveal, including an original world map.

In the next few days we'll publish a public download link with an updated version featuring a better-balanced difficulty.... So watch this space
