Brick Blaster - A rather decent Arkanoid clone arrives on the Amstrad CPC by Issalig

It's the turn of the Amstrad CPC to get a new game, as I've been informed by XeNoMoRPH that the Arkanoid clone called 'Brick Blaster' has been released. Built using the powerful CPCtelera framework, this high-octane project delivers an upgraded take on traditional brick-breaking action. Players can look forward to navigating through 10 meticulously designed stages, culminating in an intense showdown against a custom-coded final boss that boasts its own unique artificial intelligence and defeat sequence. The game goes further for Arkanoid fans with refined physics, ultra-smooth paddle movement, and an array of game-altering power-ups. Catering to all players, the game includes three distinct difficulty settings alongside a fully automated demonstration mode where the software showcases its mechanics by playing itself.

What truly sets this new release apart is its remarkable accessibility. The developers have ensured a global appeal by completely localizing the text into six different languages, including English, Spanish, French, Greek, Valencian, and Portuguese. Furthermore, the launch is catered for those without an Amstrad as there's also a dedicated web portal. This platform features an integrated emulator equipped with a virtual touch-screen gamepad, allowing mobile and tablet users to easily experience the Amstrad game on the go without needing original hardware.
