Many years ago in 1984, Matthew Smith with publishing rights by Software Projects released the all time classic game ' Jet Set Willy ' for the ZX Spectrum. It was a game that star'd none other than Miner Willy who was tasked by the housekeeper Maria with the cleaning up of items left around the house after a big party. But now after all this time good ol' Willy is back, but this time rather than being the main character in the game, he's been kidnapped by Ninja's and its down to Maria the housekeeper to save him!
According to the jswmm website, Maria vs. Some B**tards is a beautiful game by Vidar Eriksen (Erix1). It uses a modified JSW48 game engine that has come to be known as 'Erix1 Mode'. Its first short demo version was released in October 2001. The game was gamma-released on 6th March 2003, with a big fix version released towards the end of last April. As for the game itself however, it features brand new enemies, many new areas, new life sprites and of course being able to play as Maria herself!
