Gold Rush! - Sunlight Games launches retro label with an Amiga classic! (Pre-Order)

This year has been amazing for the Amiga, especially as we've announced upcoming games such as Rygar AGA, Metro Siege, Inviyya, and even Kung Fu Master. But one such company wants us to relive the golden years of the Commodore Amiga, as thanks to a heads up from Sunlight Games, they have told us they are going to announce a new retro label with an upcoming release of a special edition of the Commodore Amiga game ' Gold Rush '; an adventure game originally published by Sierra in 1989!

According to the press release, Sunlight Games will soon launch the retro label "RetroTainment", under which old and new games for systems from the 1980s and 1990s will be released in classic boxes. It starts with the Special Edition of Gold Rush! for classic Amiga computers. Sunlight Games developed the 2014 remake of the classic Gold Rush! PC game. The newly released Amiga version will be released in a classic cardboard box with a banderole.

Gold Rush! takes you back to the year 1849, when gold was discovered in California. It was certainly one of the most exciting times in American history. Gold Rush! includes the three routes tens of thousands took to the gold regions. Become Jerrod Wilson and experience each trek as you travel from New York to California. The game features a unique art design causing you to travel back to the middle of the 19th Century, three different western routes (3 adventures in one game) and finally a parser interface with the special edition including great accessories such as those listed below!

• Game on 2 Disks for Amiga*
• Disks with a printed color label
• Printed manual
• On CD: Book “California Gold” for copy protection, drawings, ADF game files
• On DVD: PC-Remake “Gold Rush! Anniversary”, playable on PC without Internet connection, DRM-free
• A printed certificate including the serial-number of the limited Special Edition
• A printed DIN A1 poster on a high-quality paper
• A printed label of the game logo
* Because of different types of disk-drives used in the Amiga, there may be problems reading the disks. Therefore, the CD contains the ADF-files to copy the content onto disks with a free tool.
